I’ve tested it on several pieces with manufactured diamonds and gemstones, and they all came up sparkling. One item I was especially pleased with was my well‑worn pounamu (NZ greenstone) koru pendant — the finish had become quite dull over years of wear, and it now looks noticeably refreshed.The pen needs a few twists initially to get the liquid flowing to the brush tip, and I found I needed to twist it a couple of times while cleaning — though I did use it on several items in one session. The mechanism twists easily. It contains 2 ml of liquid, so I don’t expect it to last very long, and because most of the pen is opaque with only a small clear section near the brush, it’s hard to gauge how much has been used.I can’t detect any scent from the formula, which aligns with the product’s description of gentle, natural ingredients with an alcohol‑free base and coconut‑derived surfactants.

I was really impressed by how shiny and sparkly this made my ring. It noticeably cleaned it up and brought back that freshly-cleaned look really quickly.What I particularly liked is that it cleaned more than just the gemstone. I could use the brush to work the cleaner around the setting and the rest of the ring, so the whole thing looked much brighter afterwards.The built-in brush is such a good idea too. I normally feel like I need a separate little toothbrush or jewellery brush to properly scrub around a ring, but with this everything I needed was already in the pen.It's also compact and easy to use without making a mess, so it would be really handy for travelling or keeping somewhere convenient for quick cleans.I also really appreciate that the formula is vegan. Overall, I'm very happy with this. My ring came up beautifully shiny and sparkly, and the built-in brush makes it so much more convenient than other jewellery cleaners I've used.

I was pleasantly surprised by this jewellery cleaner pen.It is very simple and easy to use however it did take a fair bit of winding initially for the liquid or detergent to start dispensing from the pen brush. It has a slight foam to it once you start brushing so you still need to remember to rinse the jewelry off afterwards.I did find that my rings came up substantially more sparkly and cleaner than they were prior to using the pen.I wouldn’t say that this is a replacement for a good soak and scrub jewellery clean however it was definitely very fast and easy to throw the pen into your handbag to have on hand for whenever you need. The instructions mention that you should wipe with the polishing cloth after using so it would be great if it actually came with a small polishing cloth however it does not . overall pleased with the item and you could definitely see the dirt coming off of it that was left on the pen brush.Should’ve taken a before photo, but I definitely felt they were back to being sparkly.

I wear a 2.2ct solitaire pink sapphire engagement ring and with normal day to day wear, the build up of oils and dust does dull the shine so when I saw this Vivaara Jewellery Cleaner Pen I jumped at the chance to try it out.WHOA! What a different it makes, the sparkle is back and I can see every facet reflecting the light just like the day I got engaged.The shine wand measures approximately 12.5 x 1.5 x 1.5cm, and weighs 16g.It has a pointed synthetic brush that is 1cm long; it needs to be wetted with the cleaning solution before use to make it soft and pliable.The cleaning solution is said to contain coconut surfactants, and is alcohol free. It is dispensed by twisting the end of the wand.I found that it needed more clicks than I expected to dispense the cleaning solution at first, but once primed it only needs a click or two to top up the brush.The lid is tight fitting to avoid leaks and help stop the brush drying out.I found the wand easy to use; the point on the brush can reach the pavilion of the stone in the mount where dirt and grime accumulate.While applying the cleaning solution and buffing with a lint-free cloth worked well on the go.I love I can pop this into my bag for travelling and use it before a night out to get the extra sparkle!Fantastic little product.Highly recommended.

This is a very handy product - what a great idea! I do clean my jewellery from time to time, but this pen adds an extra shine to my engagement and wedding rings, as the liquid gives a polished effect to their previously tired look.The brush itself is great - rigid enough to reach into corners, yet soft enough to get in between my diamond ring’s claws. I’ve used this on my rings and I’m really happy with the results. The diamond on my ring looks so much brighter now that the residual gunk around it has been cleaned!The compact, pen-like size is also super practical, especially for travel. This would make a wonderful gift, too!

Works really well! It's easy to use, you just twist the end until a drop of solution comes out on the pen side, then start cleaning away. You see results pretty fast!Only works on legitimate jewellery tho, it doesn't do anything to help with discolouration on cheap jewellery, unfortunately.

I wasn't really expecting such a noticeable result from something as simple as a jewellery cleaning pen, but this has done an excellent job. We tried it on my wife's ring and the difference afterwards was immediately obvious.It's particularly useful for cleaning around the stone and those small areas of the setting where dirt accumulates and isn't necessarily easy to reach during normal cleaning. Once finished, the ring was considerably brighter and shinier. My wife commented on the difference straight away, and it honestly looked almost new again.We've also found another good use for it with waterproof watches. If you have a watch that can safely be cleaned under water, the pen makes it much easier to work around the little gaps and areas where grime tends to collect. That makes it more versatile than something we'd only bring out occasionally for jewellery.It's compact and takes very little effort to use, yet the result on my wife's ring was much better than I expected. For something so simple, it has earned its place in the house and will definitely be getting used again.
